every now and then i like to point out a moment in mainstream entertainment where a bit of perviness leaks thru…today its the ‘digital sex cake’ scene from MATRIX RELOADED

to prove that all humans are out of control just beneath the surface, the frenchman has a special piece of cake delivered to what he calls an ‘obvious bourgeois’ woman…

the cake contains code that triggers her erogenous zones without warning, causing her to become aroused…

he states that at first she will be confused and concerned, but that eventually her instinct will say ‘fuk it’ and just go with the sensations…

and at the end of the code she cums right at the table, nobody but the frenchman and neo any the wiser…

i really liked this scene-despite all the usual matrix ’stoned dorm room’ philosophy surrounding it, it does convey a truth i believe in: that beneath the surface we are ALL erotic beings that only sometimes need the slightest of pushes to submit to our urges

of course, the real truth is a bit more complicated…

ALL traditional media is dying
but they always use the wrong word…it’s not ‘dying’
it’s evolving…thanks to the internet

for decades, people were forced to buy $15 CDs to get 2 or 3 good songs
or had to hunt obscure record shops to find non-mainstream music
til the internet

for years, people had to drop up to $50 to take their family to a movie that may or may not suck
til the internet

to even get close to the truth of an issue, u had to buy newspapers from different cities and countries
til the internet

it’s a cycle people-the world of entertainment as we know it is changing
and i think, for the better

i observe culture trends…and remember what has come before
the public has always been at the whims of the big media companies
forced to accept whatever price points they have set…regardless of if they were fair or not
and porn was the worst industry of all with this agenda

mainstream porn charged beyond premium prices because they were your only outlet
but not anymore

but just like movies and music, porn pretty much did this to itself
quality decreased but prices didn’t
the audience got burned (hm, maybe wrong choice of words for porn lol) over and over again
until they found other options

but porn has another dilemma
US…meaning amateur porn

but WHY is there amateur porn?
could it be because the porn biz got lazy?
started getting in a rut and used the same template over and over

see if this sounds familiar:

i just described about 90% of all mainstream porn scenes ever made
to regular viewers, this can get mighty boring in an age of choices

and they didn’t help by catering to certain body types

and at the end of the day…the audience knows its not real-it’s an illusion of sexuality

amateur porn is (mostly) real
sure there a few ‘pros’ sprinkled in, but most regular folks who go on cam do so for a very simple reason

they’re pervs…and it shows
and that reality makes a difference in the excitement of the viewer

and yes, we know piracy is affecting you…by a minor percentage
just like music, movies and premium cable
study after study shows digital piracy helps quality products…but kills crap

so porno industry…accept this truth:

accept the choices you made in the past
